Winding Trail
From amongst the trees, our travellers emerge. Gazing upon the horizon, awash with the evening's last drop of the sun's glow. The trail ahead winds and twists with landscape. Turning and coiling back into the forest on the eastern end of valley. Pausing for only a moment, the traveller turns his steps back onto the path and continues the journey towards the shadowed glade that lies ahead.
Of Beginnings and Endings...
This is a tale of beginnings. And endings as well. The destination that lies ahead is known. For although this journey is just beginning, it is apparent that the end approaches quickly. Look not to the future in years ahead for by then, the words here will have faded. Lost in the past of history back...never to tread along. And yet on, we continue...looking towards the future written. Gladly. Soundly. Yes, treading ever forward. Not the first nor the last, but for today, the real.
Return now to the tasks you set about before travelling here. You may come back of course, but look not for depth. It does not dwell within these bounds. This is but a fleeting pass. It's use will be used then of no more will it be. Enjoy it, but make it so, quickly. And at that, I bid you farewell, traveller.
